Magic Tank Rock is easy to use. 

• Prior to installing the Magic Tank Rock, you will want to clean your aquarium and remove any existing debris, algae or waste. The Magic Tank Rock will not work on existing algae it will simply reduce the number of suspended organics and create cleaner, healthier water quality. That is why it is important to start with a clean aquarium prior to inserting the Magic Tank Rock
• Rinse off the Magic Tank Rock once you've removed it from the packaging.  This will eliminate any of the dust that may have accumulated during shipping.
• Then simply place your Magic Tank Rock in your aquarium near flowing or moving water and let nature do the rest.

To ensure maximum efficacy, check the Magic Tank Rock every month to make sure it is not clogged with debris, such as fish food or waste. If it becomes clogged, simply remove your Magic Tank Rock and gently clear away the debris by hand or with a soft bristle brush. Magic Tank Rock can chip and crack if scrubbed too vigorously, but this will not interfere with its ability to work. However, do not let Magic Tank Rock freeze, as that can cause the rock to disintegrate and reduce its effectiveness.

Replace your Magic Tank Rock every 12 months.
